- What is Hot or Not at NBNL?
- Hot or Not is the free rating game from No Bike No Life (NBNL): you swipe through motorcycle photos and decide with a swipe whether a bike is “hot” or “not”. What gets rated are community uploads, publicly shared garage bikes and models from the NBNL catalogue. After every vote you see how the community voted.
- How does Hot or Not work?
- You pick a deck (all community photos, a category or a card-game deck) and rate each bike by swiping left (hot) or right (not) — or with a button or an arrow key. Straight afterwards NBNL shows the community share as a percentage. Match the majority and your streak grows and you collect points.
- Which motorcycles are shown in Hot or Not?
- Three sources are mixed: photos other users have uploaded, publicly shared bikes from the NBNL garage, and motorcycles from the NBNL catalogue with over 300 models. You can filter by category — naked, sport, adventure, cruiser or supermoto, for example.
- Can I upload my own motorcycle and have it rated?
- Yes. With a free NBNL account you upload a photo, assign a model and a category and accept the terms of use. The crop is set to 3:4, an NBNL watermark is added automatically and EXIF location data stays internal. Under “My uploads” you see live how your bike is doing, and you can take it out of the game again at any time.
- Does Hot or Not cost anything, and do I have to be signed in?
- Rating is free and possible without signing in — anonymous votes are carried over automatically when you log in later. You only need an account (free as well) for your own uploads, favourites and upload management.
- Where do I see the hottest motorcycles?
- In the ranking at nbnl.net/en/hot-or-not/leaderboard. It sorts the best-rated community photos by Wilson score and can be switched between week, month, year and all time.
- Are AI-generated motorcycle images labelled?
- Yes. If someone states at upload that an image was created with AI, that photo carries a visible “AI” badge in the game plus a machine-readable note — as required by the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
