The ranking sorts community photos by the Wilson score — a method that weights the share of “hot” votes against the number of ratings. That way bikes with a handful of lucky votes do not end up on top; the ones that do well consistently across many ratings do.

Whichever bike is rated best stands at the top of the podium. The ranking updates continuously with every new rating and can be switched between week, month, year and all time.

Can my own bike make it into the ranking?

Yes. Upload a photo of your motorcycle in Hot or Not — as soon as it has collected enough ratings it appears in the ranking. You can see where it stands at any time under “My uploads”.
