- Yes — and at the moment entirely free: every function of the route planner is unlocked, including GPX export, automatic detours around closures, rain routing and offline maps. With a free NBNL account you save, share and import your routes.
- Does the route planner take weather and closures into account?
- Yes. The planner shows the rain radar and the forecast along the route and warns about traffic, roadworks and closures. Automatic detours around closures and rain cells are currently unlocked for everyone, free of charge.
- Can I import GPX files?
- Yes. With a free NBNL account you import GPX, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON and TCX files — several at once too, which can be combined into a single route.
- Can I export the planned route?
- Yes. You export every route free of charge as a GPX, KML, GeoJSON or TCX file for Garmin, TomTom Rider, Calimoto and other sat-navs — or ride it straight in the NBNL navigator.
- Does the route planner work on a phone as well?
- Yes. The planner runs in the mobile browser with bottom-sheet controls, and “ride route” starts riding mode straight on the bike — no app installation.
